Nicole McGuire
has always been an animal lover, with a special place in her heart for cats.  She bred Persian show cats while in college and has been in the Veterinary field for eleven years.   She has a degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University.   After college, she managed a small animal and emergency practice in College Station for six years.  After moving to the Dallas area, she sold Veterinary pharmaceuticals in Grapevine before meeting Dr. McGuire.   They recently remodeled the facility.  There are still a few things to refurbish, but they are working hard to get them done.   Nicole is our Jack of all trades!   Generally she handles the business side of the Clinic, but is also very involved in the care of the animals.   Due to her previous experience as a Technician and Receptionist, she is always able to fill in when needed.   As our Practice Manager, she is always available for any personal concerns you may have, so feel free to contact her any time.

Viola Dominguez has been in the veterinary field for many years.   She looks after our hospitalized patients, as well as the boarders that stay with us.  She assures that the dogs and cats are fed, watered, walked or let in the yard for supervised play, and are clean, comfortable and happy while they are here.   She also monitors and watches for any potential problems, such as loss of appetite, strange behavior or any sign of illness and immediately reports any changes to the nursing staff or directly to Dr. McGuire. Viola's native language is Spanish and she is taking classes to learn English as a second language.   She is progressing well.   Viola has worked with the clinic for many years and will continue to provide quality care to the animals that come to stay with us, whether for surgery, hospitalization, boarding or just plain drop by visits!

Kimberly Kovar joined our team in December of 2008 as one of our receptionist and has become a valuable team member.  Kimberly is a graduate from the Colony High School in 2000 and has always enjoyed participating in anything animal related.  Kimberly started working as a receptionist at a veterinary office in 2004 and has also had some technician training.   At home she enjoys the company of her Yorkshire Terrier Bodhi (AKA "Big Man") who has a big personality to match his nickname.

Jodi Taylor lives in The Colony and graduated from The Colony High School in 2000. She enjoys spending time with her energetic Rottweiler/Greyhound mix Brock-Lee.  Jodi proudly introduced her new baby boy to the world on April 26, 2010 and he is a wonderful addition to her family!

Vincent is our incredible story!   He lost his two front paws at seven months of age, as a result of a terrible accident.   Even without his front feet, he jumps around the waiting room visiting all of the clients!  Please feel free to stop by and meet him! We have a page with his complete story on this web site, if you would like to know more about him.

Jackson is our FLUFFY Persian who holds down the counter at our receptionist area.   He likes to lounge around, get treats and love at his leisure.   As you can see from his photo, he tends to look extremely grumpy but he is really a lover at heart!
