Comments :  I first took my Russian Blue Stray cat to Carrollton Animal Hospital 12 years ago as a kitten. They have been his primary care physicians ever since! Dr. McGuire and his staff are truly phenomenal. I've tried taking my kitty to other, closer vets and ALWAYS been sorely disappointed. I've always felt gouged at the check out by people who appear to loathe animals at other clinics. The prices at Carrollton animal Hospital are reasonable and most importantly, they truly love their jobs and the animals they care for. A year ago, my cat needed an expensive surgery to remove a tumor from his back. Dr. McGuire called me regularly to update me with test results and options for treatment. They took excellent care of both my kitty and me before, during and after the surgery. A few weeks ago, my kitty became noticeably ill. As a recent college graduate, my funds were extremely limited to treat his liver problem. Dr. McGuire and his staff gave me everything I needed to care for my kitty at home without having to shell out expenses for hospitalization. I was told my cat's diagnosis was not great (10 days to live, max) but that there was always a slight chance he could swing back and that at least they would help me keep him out of pain. Dr. McGuire called regularly to check in on his progress and allowed me time to ask questions. His staff were exceptional on the phone answering questions and giving me advice. My cat died 6 days later at home. When the office was notified of his death, I felt as if they all loved and enjoyed him nearly as much as I did and that they genuinely felt my loss with me. I have never regretted a single penny spent at Carrollton Animal Hospital and sincerely wish I could donate more money towards the rescue efforts they put forth with the numerous animals that cross their paths. They cared for my cat from the time I found him until the time he died and I could not be more pleased with their kindness, understanding, wealth of knowledge and the generous time they gave me with each visit and phone call. I highly encourage every pet owner to take their pet to Carrollton Animal Hospital. Thank you to Dr. McGuire & every staff member there that helped keep my kitty happy and healthy! I will definitely be taking my next pet to Carrollton Animal Hospital!!!
